Some of the most popular free pornography Web sites have only a fraction of the unique visitors Twitter has, according to stats on Compete.com.

Sites, which we're not linking to for obvious reasons, such as RedTube, YouPorn, PornHub and PornoTube, each enjoy several million unique visitors per month (though we expect many share the same visitors). But in recent months, Twitter's traffic has exploded to the extent that it dwarfs these destinations.

In fact, three of these sites--RedTube, YouPorn and PornHub--collectively only make up 15 million unique visitors, which is still several million away from Twitter's 20+ million uniques, according to Compete.
