Drinks will be available for purchase at the bar and complimentary canapés will be provided.

Bruce Butler, fan of David Bowie for over 40 years, music industry professional and avid collector of Bowie paraphernalia will be delivering a special presentation. We are so lucky to have this wonderful insight as many of the pieces featured in the 'Is' exhibition are sourced from Butler's private collection.

Come along to Noosa's unofficial clothing optional beach tucked away in the Noosa National Park this Saturday to stand with the Australian Sex Party in support of designated clothing optional beaches in the area.

The Queensland Branch of the Australian Sex Party calls upon the Queensland government to appropriately amend the Queensland Summary Offences Act 2005, Number 4, Section 9 to allow local councils to designate specific clothing optional beaches, and will convene a clothing optional public support meeting at the southern end of Alexandra Beach at 11 AM on Saturday, October 3. All interested persons and the media are invited. Sex Party T-shirts will be available should the constabulary be sighted.

Former Canberra lobbyist and now member of the Victorian Parliament Fiona Patten will host an information night about the Australian Sex Party in Canberra at Smith’s Alternative on Monday 12 October. She will be joined by her Chief of Staff and former Director of the ACT Fringe Festival, Jorian Gardner who will also deliver a speech.

ACT lead candidate Steven Bailey will compere the evening and talk about the party’s plans to win a number of seats in the upcoming ACT election. He will also introduce well-known Canberra guitarist/singer and Sex Party member Fred Pilcher there may even be a little bit of Nazi burlesque! Ms Patten will talk about her experiences in the Victorian Parliament and how they might impact the ACT. These topics will include, medical marijuana, abortion, parking, voluntary euthanasia and fireworks. Members, civil libertarians, and people who want to become a member are all most welcome.

Set in the beautiful Alexandra Gardens Midsumma is always our favourite time of year. You can find us at our stall in the Midsumma Village or, if you stick around long enough, you may even catch us letting our hair down at T Dance.

Come along with us to this year's Mardi Gras and join in the merriment with Fiona and the rest of the gang.

Mardi Gras is a fantastic festival which runs for 2 weeks culminating in the parade along Oxford street in Darlinghurst.
