The first Sexpo of the 2010 calendar is done and dusted and it was another successful show for the Australian Sex Party (ASP). We tattooed thousands of bodies with our "I love sex and I vote" slogan and handed out thousands of ASP brochures, postcards and stickers plus signed up about 150 new Party members. Thank you Brisbane and Queensland for your interest in and support for our relevant and intelligent sex and gender focussed policies and messages.
We also held an ASP members' meeting at the Fox Hotel where our intrepid Party President Fiona Patten ran a fun and frisky question and answer session with adult superstar and local Brisbane gal Monica Mayhem. Monica also announced that she will be seeking preselection to run as an ASP candidate in the Senate at the upcoming federal election. The fabulous Crusty Demons also popped in and showed support for the party. Some of the sex party team got to see what happens when tetsicles land on a petrol tank of a Harley Davidson after breaking the Evel Knievel distance jump record. It puts a whole new meaning to blue balls!
As always we rely heavily on getting the ASP message out to the masses by word of mouth and we need your help. So tell your friends, family, colleagues and even your boss about the ASP and get behind our candidates in the federal election that will be held later this year. To be successful, come election time we are going to need the help of thousands of volunteers to staff election booths, distribute how-to-vote cards and promote the ASP. Your support will be crucial for the campaigns and election of ASP candidates.
Of course the ASP can't attend great events like Sexpo without the help of our stand volunteers. Thanks to everyone who gave their time to the ASP cause over the four long days at Brisbane Sexpo.
