FRENCH first lady Carla Bruni reportedly kept Queen Elizabeth waiting while she had sex with President Nicolas Sarkozy.
Bruni, 42, told US first lady Michelle Obama she was making love with her husband while Britain's 84-year-old monarch cooled her heels, The Sun reports.

And although the former model did not identify the "senior head of state" left waiting, speculation mounted in France that it was the Queen.

The Sarkozys spent a night at Windsor Castle during an official trip shortly after their marriage two years ago.

Bruni, whose past lovers include Mick Jagger and Eric Clapton, is said to have shared sex-life secrets with the US President's wife during a meeting in the States.

..The claims were made in a book by American journalist Jonathan Alter.
