The Australian Sex Party will tomorrow launch the most revolutionary drugs policy seen in an Australian election campaign. Party President, and Victorian Senate candidate, Fiona Patten, will outline a plan to empty Australian jails of people who are incarcerated for personal possession of drugs.

One of nation’s leading criminologists, Prof Paul Wilson, will be present to comment on the policy in Kings Cross tomorrow. Prof Wilson is author and co author of 25 books on crime and he will draw on the success of the new Portuguese drug laws and the failure of US drug policies on the Mexican border and in Afghanistan.

Ms Patten will also introduce the Sex Party’s Senate and House of Representative candidates and outline their individual talents and skills.

NSW Campaign and Drugs Policy Launch: Tuesday 10th August at 12.00 noon, Wattle Room, Holiday Inn, 203 Victoria St, Potts Point, Sydney.
