Sex Party off and running in Niddrie |

Amy Myers is the Sex Party’s candidate for the Niddrie by election and she’s off and running in this afternoon’s Moonee Valley Fun Run. Amy reckons she can blitz the field with a Black Caviar burst of speed coming around the home turn. “If I can’t manage that, I’ll certainly look as good as Black Caviar”, she said. “I’ll be wearing Sex Party colours on top with a nice pair of designer shorts and running shoes”.
Amy is keen to tout the party’s drug policies but assures the media that there’ll be no performance enhancing drugs with her chaff before today’s race. “Our drugs policy is the only one that has proven to reduce drug use in young people and my performance today will not be enhanced with anything except strong coffee and political will”.
The Fun Run goes from 5pm to 7pm leaving from the Moonee Valley Athletics Centre, in Corio st. Participants can run or walk the beautiful 5km or 10km course by the side of the Maribyrnong River.
