Did you know that Australia invented the secret ballot and that in some countries photos of candidates appear on the ballot paper? Do you know how votes are counted at elections? The Education Section of the New South Wales Parliament invites you to participate in this two-hour course about elections and voting systems around Australia and worldwide. The course includes a visit to the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council chambers of the NSW Parliament and a voting simulation. Venue: Parliament House, Macquarie Street, Sydney Dates and Times: Monday 14 September, 4pm - 6pm Cost: Free
